Slow but steady

We're very slowly making progress.

Don made lots of progress in the RV.  A little trimming around the windows and it should be fine for the kiddos.  He installed a closet rod for their clothes too.  I'll be filling that up soon.

Our first Missouri offer

We put an offer on a house.  It's in town so we aren't really thinking of it as a permanent home.  If we get the place, we'll probably crash there for the summer.  Then we'll have to decide whether we want to stick around or just try to rent the place out for the coming year.

T minus 7

Well we have a crazy summer adventure planned so I'm going to try to remember to blog a little here and there to let our family and friends know the latest.  We started a countdown to the beginning of our trip a couple weeks ago and today we hit the T -7 mark.  Honestly I'm freaking out.  We still have so much to do.  I haven't been feeling great (had a stomach bug then a couple big migraines) so I'm feeling especially behind.  So here's the current state of affairs...

The RV loft is torn apart.  Don is fixing some old water damage.

The house is full of boxes and in total shambles.

We've gotten a lot done with getting packed up and the rv ready but we still have a ways to go.

IKEA finds

We found a couple great finds at Ikea yesterday.

Here are some poppies for above our bed.

And a magazine rack turned laptop holder to get our laptops out of the way and out of the little ones reach.  Overall a very successful trip.

I finally figured out how to post from the iPad.  I know, I'm a little slow with technology.  Here's a picture from today.   Caleb is working on his schoolwork outside.
