So I just ordered some powdered peanut butter called PB2. Weird, I know. I heard about it on a blog about weight loss (see here). I learned that when they make powdered peanut butter they take out like 85% of the fat. Then you can mix it with just water and get a peanut butter product that only has 1.5 grams of fat. I was a little skeptical so I found a local store that carried a similar product to try it out. It's not exactly like regular peanut butter, but it's close enough that I don't mind, especially if I'm eating it with other food. It's supposedly great for cooking--think thai peanut sauce, pb cookies, smoothies, fruit dip, etc. I haven't tried cooking with it yet, but now that I'm getting a 4 pack on Friday, I'll have to find some good recipes to try out. YUM!
