I recently finished a ladies' Bible study of the book of Ephesians. I came away from it with several new insights, but with a persistent question that still haunts me. What does it mean to be "in Christ"? In what way am I "seated in the heavenly places"? How should this affect my life?
Last night I ran across a radio sermon by Dr. Charles Stanley about what it means to have our identity "in Christ." His text was the beginning of Ephesians. You can find it here. I can't say that I have it all figured out, but I'm pretty sure it is something that God is working on in me. I know that there is something very central about the idea of being in Christ, but I find it hard to articulate what it means.
